So, who's your favorite:

i) current writer
ii) past writer
iii) reader

I suppose I can set the example and go first, just like Optimistic. did.

i) Cognoscente
ii) Krishna
iii) bismark

Claudio, Cognoscente, Foreman, Humble Master, Laser Jock, Mico, Rating Pending, and Sauron, Yellow. Gasp! These were my top choices. I guess I'm kind of sexist. (Good work, Mico!)

Kicks and Giggles, Dragon Lady, Katya, Azriel, Castle in the Sky, Optimus Prime, The Cleaning Lady, habiba, Mid-career Hobbes, krebscout/Waldorf, Krishna, Olympus, P.D. Kirke, Polly Esther, Tangerine, Tao, The Defenestrator, Toaster Oven, Whistler. These were my top retired choices. I wasn't as sexist, although it was the other way.

All of you are my favorite readers. [ =

Sorry if I offended anyone.

i) Sauron
ii) Uffish
iii) Fredjikrang

...I think my answers are highly influenced by my real-life relationships. Except for Fred. I'd only met him once or twice, but he's just so dang nice.

I assume you just forgot about me. Clearly you would have chosen me otherwise.

I would have chosen you. Except I don't think I know what 'nym you wrote under. Nor do I especially care.

Oh, I was a terrible writer. As a reader, I was fairly prolific, but still not memorable. I'm just giving krebscout a hard time since she claimed she made her choices based on real life relationships. :)

Hahaha. I can think of some terrible writers. But I won't start naming them here.

And just for the record, I was going to ask this same.exact.question word for word, basically, but I was afraid the writers wouldn't actually answer it. Because they no longer actually _answer_ any of my questions. But I still love them.

I didn't forget about you, actually, but you were retired before I started reading. So...I'm not sure I've read any of your answers. You're my favorite grey area.

I also clearly have a soft spot in my heart for Optimistic., Whistler, Kicks and Giggles, and all my other real life friends that happened to be writers back in the day. And the new ones, too. Uffish just introduced me to the Board, and so she always kind of embodied it for me.

i) Rating Pending
ii) Katya
iii) Rhymes with Orange, whom I don't know at all, but I remember werf's nym from back in the day. And didn't she (I think) create the message board or something?

I really, really like a lot of other writers, past and present. But I'm not allowed to choose more than one. (Not that it's stopping the rest of you. I'll just have to think about it.)

Wow, Gio. Way to be hatin' on (most of) the female writers! Sheesh. :P

Since this question frustrated me, I'm going to take the liberty of posting my "second favorites" too:

i) Gimgimno
ii) The Black Sheep
iii) bobtheenchantedone

Hah! I defy the rules.

And you called me sexist? Ms. "I'm only going to pick males for current writers as well".

And then you pick females for past writers and readers? Lame.

i) HFAC (is it officially HFACCK now?)
ii) Nike (with Cuddlefish and Waldorf close behind)
iii) ME! bahahaha...

I was also partial to Linoleum Blownaparte, but mostly for the nym.

That's "Mrs." ;) And I've only listed 4 writers in any favorite category, split evenly male and female. I didn't give a huge list of practically just one gender.

I'm actually just hurt that you seem to hate me...

I) Sauron.
II)The Black Sheep
III)Bobtheenchantedone

Honorable mentions go to Cognoscente, Gimgimno (neither of whom would have made the list, but I understand more of the tongue-in-cheek after meeting them), Krebscout/Waldorf, Cuddlefish, Dr, Smeed, Hobbes, and thebigcheese. I could talk for a while on each of these and just why they're so compelling, but I won't.
