My roommate and I have murder mystery parties with some regularity. I haven't attempted to write one yet, but we haven't repeated a night yet. I usually pick up the game at DI, where many of them end up since it is difficult to play some of them once you know who did it. Summer is usually the best time to pick them up, although I always look. If anyone want to borrow one I have quite a collection of them. And I'm always looking for more.

I wrote a comment in on this already, but I'll say it here, too. You can rent them at many game stores, like Board Game Revolution.

A friend of mine has been wanting to set one up. Perhaps I'll just borrow one from you when we do instead of renting it. I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks for the Board comment, Dragon Lady! I had no idea that renting board games was even an option. I am not omniscient like some, more experienced, writers.

Tragically, omniscience starts to disappear once you've retired. You'll gain it in full eventually, Unlucky, but before you ever decide to retire, remember that it'll be stripped from you when you do. It's a tough fall. I'm at least lucky enough to be married to a current writer so omniscience is available in my home, still. So if you wanna keep it available, your choices are to a) never retire or b) marry someone with no plans to ever leave the Board. Though, you're already married. Maybe you should convince your honey that werf really wants to write for the Board indefinitely?
