How did it come to be called the Utah Poof? I've definitely seen it in the South, too. I googled it to see if I could figure it out, but I can't look at fashion websites very long without feeling bitter. So I wondered if someone might just happen to know.

I saw a Japanese and a white girl sporting it in a bowling alley in Brooklyn, New York. I thought it was great and took a picture of it! I'd link you to it but I'm in the picture and, while many of you know who I am because of my super stalker brother, there are those who don't and I'd like to keep it that way.
