That is really interesting. I actually don't wear garments with any nylon in them, but I have a few white shirts and white bras with nylon in them that were getting a bit yellowish. I started using detergent with baking soda a few months ago just because it was on sale, and they've been coming out a lot whiter. And we have hard water here. I had been wondering what was making my clothes so white, so now that I know, I guess I'll keep buying that detergent. I thought the baking soda was only in there to make them smell better! Thanks for sharing!
