We're on TV!
We're on TV!
BYU Weekly did a segment on the Board! If you go here, you can see interviews with a couple of your favorite writters [sic]!
It's currently at 200 views...but with your help, I'm sure it can hit 210.

P.S. The segment starts at 4:28.

Man, I wish they'd let you use your pseudonyms instead of your "changed names." That would've been awesome.
I loved the spelling bee segment too. Recognized a Boardie there as well....

That was cool. Except, what in the heck is with the giant bow the newscaster is wearing? I think that girl would have been attractive if her hair and outfit wasn't so weird.
Oh, but yeah, back to the 100 Hour Board. I do enjoy when I can at least tie a voice to a 'nym, so it is too bad they just made up random names. But, hey, nice promo!
But are they going to have the change how you apply now?

I kind of liked her giant bow... but whatever... This was a great minute and a half of fame for the Board! Wh00t wh00t!
Re: We're on TV!
Anyone else wonder if they really wanted to stretch out the suspenseful music, or that she doesn't have much experience finding books?

I couldn't agree with you more, Tao. I commented to my husband while we were watching that if it took her that long to find a book in the library she'd never make it as a Board writer.

You should have worn bags on your heads.

I was thinking that too!
Re: We're on TV!
Walking around with a bag on your head = not as fun as you might initially think.
Re: We're on TV!
Amen to ahem.'s comment. Also, a lot harder to get quality audio. Also, generally uncomfortable.
Re: We're on TV!
Of course, that never stopped the hard-core writers of yore.
Tee hee!

I'm particularly fond of the happy faces on those bags.
Re: We're on TV!
Ooh, almost as cool as academic success week!
That was fun. Does BYU Broadcasting have their new, giant building by the Marriott Center?
Also, I liked the frequent featuring of HFAC-type questions. Though apparently Foreman now has a new pie-kabob-making partner in crime?

I noticed the number of views was up to 550 this morning.
The segment on the Board was very interesting, as was the segment on the Indian Student association. I didn't know such a weekly existed; thank you Foreman for pointing it out.
