When do you put up your Christmas tree?

I put mine up in November of 2007. There are two, they are each 18 inches tall, and they are sitting on a box in the corner of my living room. They're part of the overall lighting scheme for the room, so they're not coming down until I move out of here. And it's my apartment, so when people don't like Christmas trees being up all year long, that's not my problem.

I made my brother pull my parent's fake tree out of the shed this morning and we put it up. We used to go pick out a real one right after Thanksgiving, but the cat apparently now has allergies, so it's fake trees from here on out.

My sister and I bought a really nice artificial one for our house a few weeks ago, so we'll probably pull that out and get it decorated in the next week or so.

We put ours up a coupla days before Thanksgiving this year for two reasons. 1) We were gonna be out of town Wednesday-Sunday, so I thought it'd be nice to come home to Christmas decorations and 2) I thought it would be a great prep activity to curling up in a blanket with hot cocoa and watching a blizzard out the window. Turns out I prepped for nothing. So we listened to Christmas music and taught some neighbors how to play Ticket to Ride instead.
