Anyone else want to chime in?

I have given lots of foods second and third and fourth and more chances because of Marduk, and most of them I actually like now. I'm trying to give certain songs several chances in hopes I will eventually like them.

Friendships: Yes
Dating: Depends on the circumstances. (And thank goodness! Yellow and I broke up twice before we got engaged.)
Food: Always. There are way too many foods I like now that I used to hate because I made myself eat them over and over again until I did.

Mmmm… pretty much everything that is good deserves a second chance. Good as in, sanctioned by God. Not good as in, "I like it right now" because that would totally defeat the point.

I really like Second Chances in Nancy Drew computer games (well, it's normally just the death scenes themselves, but the fact I don't have to rely on saved games is nice).

When I first read that statement I thought you said that you really liked the death scenes.

Thanks to this thread, I've had the song "God is a God of Second Chances" stuck in my head since last night. (Do Mormons watch Veggie Tales, or is that a pretty thoroughly evangelical phenomenon?)

I got 4 DVDs of VeggieTales for Christmas and I am downright ecstatic about it. Though, I'm a little bugged that "Rack, Shack, and Benny" are on two of my DVDs.

Umm, I think that is what I meant. There are some really good ones, like in Curse of Blackmoor Manor and Danger on Deception Island. I guess I'm just living up to my 'nym, but I find all the creative ways the creators make for Nancy to die to be interesting, and oft times funny in execution (no pun intended).

And Emiliana, right before I read that, the very same song popped into my head too. Weirdness.

You could ask the former Board writers Pa Grape and The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything . . .

Ah, I see. And here I was thinking that you liked the fact that you didn't need to rely on saved games before you do something suicidal. To each werf's own, I suppose...
