Encore-50 states

This game's theme is the 50 US States. Every song you pick must have the name of a US state in the lyrics, with the twist that once a state is used by anyone, no one can use it again. (In other words, this round can only have a maximum of 50 valid entries.)
The following rules also apply:
1. The song "Fifty Nifty United States" is hereby disqualified for use at any point in the game.
2. The state's name has to appear, but the song doesn't have to be about the state. (I.e., songs about "New York" (city) qualify for New York state.)
3. If more than one state is mentioned in a song, it only counts for one state. The player should indicate which state they wish to count. If the player does not indicate this, the song will count for the first unused state. A song may not be repeated for two different states.
4. The first round starts now and ends at midnight (local time) on Thursday, February 23. After that, each round lasts one day. Since I go to bed earlier than most of y'all, anyone is welcome to indicate the start of a new round.

With these restrictions, I feel like it would be cheating for me to do two songs a day, so I won't.
"Everyone's your friend in New York City, and everything looks beautiful when you're young and pretty. The streets are paved with diamonds and there's just so much to see. But the best thing about New York City is you and me."

"And here we have Idaho, weaving her way to fame."
I vote that instead of making the state bold when it's been used, let's make it's font tiny instead so that it's easier to see what states are left.

I locked my bedroom and walked out into the air
Nothing I needed is left there behind me
I walk out through the shadows of Washington Square"

Oh! I was also going to say that if you've been doing two a day, you can optionally do two entries for the same state. So you can think of another New York song, if you like.

This is a good plan! I will see.

It should be interesting to see what state is the last one sung.

Why is Delaware on the list? I thought it was an accepted fact that it
doesn't exist.

We'll know it doesn't exist if no one can think of a song for it.

I am going to go crazy the next few days trying to remember more School House Rock songs, because my brain is swearing there are more state names. I assume singing the "States of the United States" song would be ill-advised at this juncture?
"West Virginia, mountain mama, take me home country road."
Let me guess, the title is "Country Road"? Oh, John Denver, I don't know any of your song names

Assuming this isn't the song I mentioned above, then it's hard to say when you should use it. You don't want to waste it by using it for an easy state, but if you hang onto it too long, someone else might take it. (This is some advanced Encore strategy, people!)
