I know this has been discussed, but I'm a bit too lazy to look for the answer.

What's the deal on comments approval? When you see "Comment waiting approval..." does that meant it has NOT been rejected? Or, would rejected ones still be in the approval stage?

You should now get a notice via e-mail if/when your comment is rejected. If it says it's waiting for approval, then it's still in the inbox (neither approved nor rejected) and its fate has not yet been decided.
