No kidding. As we've said before, we really do try not to roast people. I'm not that happy that we've gotten that reputation among the writers, to be honest.

Personally, I think we do more roasting of each other than we do of the Board writers.

Hmm...well, sometimes it's hard to tell when people are being serious.

I should clarify—I saw Hypatia call us the "hate board," but I haven't seen anyone else mention it until D.A.R.E., just now.

Don't worry, friends. I like you guys. I read all the time just to see what readers think of us. Sorry if my response gave the wrong impression; I thought the "hi guys!" bit was enough to show that I was joking. Tough to convey tone without using emoticons, and I'm not really a fan.

All I know is, your version of heavy-handed is Sesame street-esque compared to some of the things for which we've taken writers to task. If that's as malicious as you're going to get, its a safe bet you will not see much in the way of criticism here.
