I am amazed. That girl has some lungs on her.

That is some good singing. Some people just need autotune, though, like
Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking.

In other news, I have decided that DC should do a parody of Rebecca Black's "Friday," only it should be called "Sunday" and it should be about deciding where to sit at church.

A non-LDS "Sunday" parody has already been made:

Ha! Thanks for the link. (Also, I think the lyrics to that version actually make more sense than the original ones.)

DC has definitely done some great songs over the years. Single Ladies, Halo, Provo Utah Girls... All excellent.

I've liked the videos in the past, but this is the first that I thought was viral quality amazing. It has a broader audience then most of the others, the concept is hilarious, and the videography and story boarding are fantastic. Big win.

Stupid question, but is "Firebolt" a parody of another song? (I'm not clued in to pop culture enough to catch these things—I'd never heard "California Gurls" before "Provo Utah Girls" came out.)

What would I do without my Board buddies to explain things to me?

Anyone else thinkk the positioning of the fireworks in that video are a little unfortunate?

I think the whole fireworks-popping-out-of-her-chest thing is just a tad strange. But I really like the song, so...meh.
(Except for the first line. "Do you ever feel like a plastic bag?" Really Katy? You couldn't come up with a better first line?)
