Any ardent adherents? I've used Rosetta Stone and Pimsleur and to me, Pimsleur is way better.

I have lots of books that supposedly will help me learn Latin, Russian and Japanese (separate ones). I love them and think they are awesome, but I admit that I haven't yet had the self-discipline to use them.

Japanese the Manga Way has been one of my favorites. I actually learned some things from it and read half of it. I love, love the idea of the Familia Romana books. They teach you Latin in Latin, and only Latin. Great idea, but it's best to supplement it (maybe I like the idea because my Latin education was very "decode-y").

I've seen Rosetta Stone but I haven't been convinced enough to spend the money on it. I've also used Pimsleur, but I prefer having some written material to reference. I really like Pimsleur's method of gradually introducing new information and randomly reviewing things. It's like they actually did their research on learning.

Does Pimsleur have Farsi? I'm trying to learn it so I can talk to my family in Iran.
