Who of all These Parties are Right?

We'll give you a hint. It's this one.

It's time for some BoardBoard party times! As usual, Marduk and I will host (though he's at a new place now, so y'all will have to get a new address) and there'll be dinner and some lively conversation.

We don't have a date in mind, so what do you all think?

I will be there, even if I have to walk 15 miles to school in the snow, uphill both ways using the telephone wire as a handrail. But a ride might be preferable.

I had a dream this week about attending a BoardBoard party, so I'm taking this as a sign that I should probably attend. Saturday and Sunday evenings work best, but my schedule is pretty flexible for the next few weeks. I'll bring pie.

Any day is fine, though I'd prefer not a Sunday because I have to work early Monday. I'd just need to know in advance so I don't set a date with a hottie with a... never mind.

Hm. I will contemplate coming but I make no promises. Saturdays and Sundays also work for me, along with Wednesdays. Thursdays are strictly out.

Ok, no more indefinites and nebulosities (I just made that word up! What do you think?) Here's some definite details, and I'd like some definite responses.

Where: Marduk's new location, 1855 S. 250 W. in Orem. If you can't find it, ask me.
What: Mexican seems to be the most popular, so we'll either do fajitas or enchiladas. And yes, Stuntman, I will make frijoles a la charra, aka "fancy bean soup."
When: I think Saturday after next works best; that's the 5th. Let me know if that conflicts with too many halloween plans and I'll bump it back a week.
Also: there's a good chance Bob will con many of you into playing Dominion, so be ready for that.

This, if nothing else, makes me want to come. (So glad she loves that game!) But where it's a half an hour drive one-way and there's a toddler and a bedtime to deal with… we shall have to see. But I'll put it on my calendar anyway.

I think sevenish generally works? Of course, those who are obligated to come later are forgiven.

Hooray, DL! Come play with me! Maybe I can scare up some monies to buy a new expansion...

Speaking of monies, I still owe your sister-in-law. I can get that to you if you come to the party.

I… completely forgot about that. I think she did, too, actually. :) But that's another good reason to come.

Also, if you buy an expansion, I vote for Seaside. It's the only one I haven't played. If I come I could bring Prosperity or Cornucopia. Which, actually, are my two favorites thus far.

I have Prosperity, so bring Cornucopia. That's the one with the prizes, right?

Idaho isn't that far from Utah. Especially if you'll be in southeast Idaho. ;)

Why did I think you lived in Canada?

I don't know. I have been to Canada, but that was 9 years ago. And Canadian law allows me to claim citizenship, but I was born and raised in California. And been in Utah for the past 5.
