Qualtrics!! :D

I need people to take a survey for a research project I'm doing. It is not too long, and some people even say it is fun. I think it is very interesting.

If you are a college student or recent grad (which I'm pretty sure the majority of people here are!) then you totally qualify to take the survey. In fact, we can say "recent grad" is even the last couple of years. Sooo, please take my survey. :)

This is the survey!

Do you define "couple" as two? Because I'm past four right now.

Hmmmm... I really would like for everyone to take it, but I'm trying to focus on college students and recent grads. Do you feel like a recent grad? (That was so unscientific... :P)

Thanks for the willingness, Katya. :) Unless, well, do you feel like a recent grad?!

(Just kidding. I just realized that almost half of my participants are over the age I was really trying to get. Whoops.)

No, not really. But I eagerly await your results.

Thanks. I'll be sure to let you all know about it sometime in December. :)

I graduated in spring 2008, but I took it. And my brother used to work at Qualtrics.

Yeah… since I was single without a boyfriend when I graduated, and now I'm married with Baby 2.0 on the way… I don't really feel like a recent grad. Sorry! But good luck!

I am young enough to not be in the + category, so I qualify. This reminds me of a blog gender analyzer that was popular in 2007-'08.

So, I'm not finished with my data yet, but I just thought you all might find something funny. Men and women both would write in that bad grammar made them choose a certain gender over the other. Interestingly, women said that bad grammar seemed male, and men said bad grammar seemed female. :P

(Let me clarify, that is what I have found so far, but it may just be a funny fluke of the first few questions.)

"Bad grammar? That's like women being bad drivers. They're too busy doing their nails to pay attention to grammar."

"Bad grammar? That's like men not asking for directions. They think it would be unmanly to learn grammar rules."

That's sexist Katya! Sometimes I'm too busy doing my nails to pay attention to grammar either.

Yet another line that's better if you imagine it coming from Che.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem.

I am honored to be associated with men who are so secure in their masculinity.

The real question is, would you be willing to wear a pink Rapunzel backpack to school? Apparently it's the "normal" thing for boys to do right now in high school. So says my sis-in-law.

No, but not because of the color or femininity. Because I refuse to support (or be seen as supporting) the evil power (a.k.a. Disney.)

On a scale of no, absolutely not, and "I'd rather slit my wrists and do push-ups in salt water," I'd have to say that I would probably lean towards just a plain no. In other words, I could be persuaded.

a certain friend and former board writer is also doing a linguistics survey! I'm sure she'd like more responses. It's about reading: https://byu.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_bHiGr8wxX2kEGGg
