Pickiness is the enemy of happiness.
Save your hundreds of dollars in therapy and take it from me, your self-worth has to come from you.
I, for instance, like writing 100 Hour Board answers. It gets my mind off my endlessly complicated love life.
You have worth because you are a human being just like the other 7 billion of us with ideas and hopes and dreams and reason.
No man got married under 22. No woman got married over 26. No one got married over 27. (Lasciate ogni speranza.)
Liking yourself isn't self-indulgent: it's necessarily for mental health.
And here we have a collection of quotes for a psychologist to ponder. Why am I so much harsher on myself than I am to anonymous undergraduates? I'm pretty sure I've thought the most extreme version of the opposite of these sentiments in the past couple of months. Ha.

I'm also much wittier on paper than in person. If you've ever had a romance conducted primarily in You've Got Mail fashion, the transition to your awkward, unvarnished, real-world bundle of nerves can be a lot to handle.
