Phone Plans?
Do any of you have any recommendations on phone plans/phones. I'm planning on going with an Android phone. I'm just not sure which company to go with. I'm currently on my family's AT&T plan, but having a sister about to get her drivers license and me having a full time job I need to get my own phone. I don't know precisely where the next two years will take me, but a pay-as-you go plan isn't financially sound with my 5-10 hours of talking and my 500-800 texts a month. Particularly not when I also want to get a smartphone.

Well, if you talked less, a GoPhone would make sense, as for $25 you get 250 minutes and unlimited texts. That is what I am probably going to do when I start to use my phone more. They also have a basic plan of $45 a month with 450 minutes and unlimited texts, but it is the same 10 cents a minute plan basically.
Other than that, I don't know. I really don't use my phone as a phone very much. Only, I wouldn't recommend Virgin Wireless. I was not very impressed with them. I like AT&T a lot more. Those are the only two companies that I have experience with though.

I've pretty much only ever had T-Mobile. They have, by far, the best introductory rates. And I've always had good experiences with customer service. I'm probably leaving them next month, but only because they don't do iPhones (except unlocked and blah blah blah) and I want an iPhone more than I want T-Mobile.

Virgin Mobile is really cheap—I haven't used them, but I would if I were getting an android phone. They use the Sprint network and offer unlimited data and texts. Check it out here: http://www.virginmobileusa.com/cell-pho ... -plans.jsp

Re: Phone Plans?
So I think I'm going to go with Sprint and a Motorola Photon. Does anyone have any experience ordering a phone online? It's cheaper to order with walmart or newegg, but the companies that actually handle the phone services don't always have the greatest reviews. Granted Walmart and newegg don't seem to be the type of companies that would tie themselves to someone terrible, but I was wondering if any of you had experiences with them.
Re: Phone Plans?
I think I ordered my phone through amazon. It was an OK experience.

I ordered my last phone online, and it was fine. Of course, it was a used iPhone, so your milage may vary.
