Comment Posting

Is it just me, or do your comments sometimes take a long time to post? I have submitted comments that I am sure meet the criteria listed, but often comments added later will get posted before mine do. I have a comment right now that is over a week old and still waiting.

What has your experience been?

Eh, I just figure, if they want to post them, they can post them. And then I go eat something.

Mine generally go up pretty quickly. However, I once submitted a comment the day a question was posted, they waited like a month, then told me that they only post comments that are made close to when the question posts. I was confused, but I'm sure it just got lost in the shuffle.

And when they reject a comment of mine, the explanation they give is usually perfectly reasonable.

I've waited that long before, and I know of a case where an active writer waited much longer before their comment eventually posted.
