dorm or marriage

I'm pretty d@mn flighty, with regards to BOTH housing and marriage, but for crying out loud, this girl seriously considered dropping her classes to rectify this situation?!? I hereby award ABS the Less Likely to Have a Successful Relationship than Portia award.

Unless it's an indication that she's willing to sacrifice for her relationship, in which case she gets the Most Likely To Have A Successful Relationship Because She's Willing To Do Something Hard In Order To Make it Work Award.

Yeah, I got the impression that she was dropping her classes to move home to get ready for the wedding. (I don't know how that works with deferment, though.)

I also feel like her opening sentence was "negging," which rubs me the wrong way. It's these small, cutting remarks which can really turn from witty repartee to deal-breaking, bawling-your-eyes-out-in-the-airport stuff before you know it.
