D'aw. It really was fun and smelly.

Last year I went to a one-year-old's birthday party that was fancier and higher-budget than I've ever seen. There was a giant bear in a costume, live chickens, and honest-to-goodness bags full of party favors. I didn't know bags of party favors existed until I was in college.

Live chickens at a one-year-old's birthday party?! That sounds a bit terrifying.

One of Yellow's friends had a real pony at his daughter's 2nd bday party. But that's, I think, less odd than chickens.
