We'll eat, drink, and be merry (take two)
Marduk and I are back from our trip, everyone, and so party times are once again in the works! Looking at the calender, June 9th would work well for us. How would that work in everyone else's schedules? The plan is to start with games at about 4 or 5, and then start dinner around 6. If you need a ride, sound off now so we can hopefully just set up one place to pick up everyone.

I could come for an hour or two with those times. I think.

Re: We'll eat, drink, and be merry (take two)
So let me clarify on a little bit of an unclear post here.
I thought we'd take advantage of warming weather and do a backyard barbeque. I'll provide the yard and food, as well as some balls and frisbees and that sort of thing. We can start early and play around to work up an appetite, and then eat and relax and enjoy the evening as long as folks would like. As Bob said, June the 9th looks good, and if we get enough interest, we'll go ahead and do it that day. Kids are also welcome.
As an aside, I've taken a few hits to the pocketbook recently, so if anyone wanted to bring $5 with them to help contribute towards the food costs incurred, I would be most appreciative. If that's not something you can afford, don't feel bad, and please come anyways.

that's my weekend off, so I'm in. I will need a ride, and will be able to contribute financially to the meal as well.

I… think that'll work for us. I'm pretty sure it will. We go out of town the day after, so a lot will just depend on how much packing/cleaning we have yet to do.
Re: We'll eat, drink, and be merry (take two)
sounds fun I will probably decide if I can come like two days before

Sounds good. I can bring five bucks too. But depending on the location I may need a ride/rides.

Sounds awesome! Count me in. If anyone lives near Brick Oven I can pick up 1-2 people.

I wish I weren't in Arizona... I'd pay more than $5 to see Marduk play frisbee.

Fredji and Dead Cat, are you or can you get near Brick Oven so Werf can pick you up?

You totally do. I saw you last night so I at least know what stake you're in.Unit of Energy wrote:I live a couple blocks from Brick Oven.

As far as I go, I generally don't know what I'm doing for the weekend until a couple of days before. I think I'll probably be in Provo, so put me down as tentative? I don't know. I would bring $5 if I came.
Re: We'll eat, drink, and be merry (take two)
I'm actually in Springville right now and the 9th is probably going to be busy for me, but thanks for thinking of me. If I can find a way to be there, I'll come.bobtheenchantedone wrote:Fredji and Dead Cat, are you or can you get near Brick Oven so Werf can pick you up?

Are you in my stake? Or just one of the passersby who asked what was going on? Because if you are in my stake we should totally get together more often. Well, I'm up for any gathering happening more often.C is for wrote: You totally do. I saw you last night so I at least know what stake you're in.

My sister's in your stake, and since mine doesn't do Institute over the summer, I go to hers. You were the one sitting on the stand, right? I look at her and think, "That's totally Unit."Unit of Energy wrote:Are you in my stake? Or just one of the passersby who asked what was going on? If not, then, well, I don't know anything anymore.
But we can hang out anyway. I am free weeknights, generally.

Re: We'll eat, drink, and be merry (take two)
The recent crash has left me unsure of whether I will be there. I may come and bring a... friend. Who is a lady. So, you know. But I won't know until Thursday. Sorry to be so flaky.

So, is anyone getting a ride with me? If so, you should send me a PM with your number?
