My best friend from high school has been touring with the Lumineers for...years, I guess? He's not one of the main three members, but he plays keyboard and sings back-up and does a few other instruments. And when they sing, "Ho Hey," I can hear his voice. And I knew they were getting popular and all that, but then I heard Ho Hey for the first time on the radio, and it was such a strange, strange sensation. To hear my friend's voice there. Kind of out-of-body.

That's all I wanted to say.

That's really cool -- I'm also kind of in love with that song, to the point that I'm thinking about using it in my wedding....

Vandelay's line about popped American Eagle collars and steen's in another question about red skinny jeans inspired me to pen a parody of "1985," "2005." I might be persuaded to post the lyrics if anyone's interested.
