How educated are you?

Post by Giovanni Schwartz »

This one is for your age. Pick the furthest one down the list that applies to you.

I don't think class standing and age necessarily match up. I'm definitely older than some posters on this forum with MAs.

By that measure I'm in 16th grade. Wow, that sounds like a long time and I'm still an undergrad.

Um, do you mean currently? Because school was a long time ago for me, yo. So listing the last level of school I finished does not tell you my age.

hence the "quotes" around "old".

I suppose a better title would have been educated. I'll see if I can fix it.

I want to know what the difference is between "grad" and "further education."

Beyond grad (which I implied, I though, to mean master's degree). Or I suppose beauty school counts, too. Any beauticians in our ranks?

I'm not sure what my teaching certification counts as. It's past my BA, but I didn't earn another degree. "Further education" fits best, but I'm definitely not one of the most educated people here.

See, teaching certificates are exactly the sort of thing I thought Gio meant by "further education." I say go for it!

so... for "some grad school" (which seems to never be an option), I'll put further education

So grad school was a master's degree, and "further education" was supposed to be a doctorate? Even though most people just call that grad school too?

Is that what I'm to understand?

I clicked grad school since that's what it is. In fact, I didn't even notice the "further education" option.
