The Baby Name Wizard's
NameVoyager has another great way to visualize the data presented by LJ. The graphs change as you start typing in the name, so you can just type in the first letter to see how the popularity of that letter for names has changed over time.

My real name is what most people consider a nick-name. People always spell it the nick-name way, and get it wrong most of the time. It makes life interesting. It switches things up. I like it.

Just be careful what your baby's initials spell. My friend Fred's initials are F.A.G (Fred Anthony Garza). You can imagine the irony when he came out.
Also, my name is pretty much made up, so.....definitely not popular.

I finally got around to checking this out. I have a name that ... is a boy name. Kind of. Mostly a girl name, especially these days, but it is not uncommon for someone to hear my name and say "Oh that's my uncle/brother/dad/grandpa's name."
But it has been more common as a girl's name for the duration of the chart, so that makes me feel a little better.
Also the major peak was in the decade where my aunt was born, and I'm named after her. So that makes sense.

But I never break... what... 700? 800?
At least I found my name on a keychain once (if only once). #pwned

I can't ever find personalized things for my kiddos, as they have somewhat uncommon names. I totally have a grandma name, and so does my sister. But my poor brother is named Mike, along with my dad, uncle, and like a quarter of males in America...

I've only found one thing with my name on it. Ever. It's a street sign that's currently hanging on my bedroom wall. I still habitually check for name whenever I see pre-personalized stuff.

ME TOO. And then I won, once. And it made it all worth it.

If someone finds me something else pre-personalized with my name on it, I'll love them forever. (My parents found the street sign...)

Yeah Craig, that's why you gotta do something different with it.
Anyone can spell it like you do. That's so passe.
