Books of the OT

So, just to add my voice, I definitely learned the books of the old testament to Praise to the Man. However, it was a version that fit the meter much better than yay's "totally authentic recording" Maybe if I get around to it, I'll record it for you.

My seminary teacher had a recording that would play over and over again getting faster and faster each time. It was thoroughly annoying, but it is now stuck in my mind permanently. Anyone else remember that song?

One of my seminary teachers had one of those. But I moved into his class halfway through the school year, and so I never actually learned it because I only heard it like once a week, and the rest of the class already had it memorized.

I know I learned at least a couple of different versions growing up, but the one that stuck with me was to the tune of "Ten Little Indians."

Apparently the people in this video sing it three times, faster and faster, although I never did..

My mom hates the version in the children's songbook with a fiery passion. We weren't allowed to sing it in our house growing up. She taught us the better, faster version instead. It is a tradition I hope to pass on to my children as well.

I loved yay's recording- especially the Songs of Solomon bit!
