1. V-neck shirts with an undershirt. The V-neck is flattering (at least on me?), and the undershirt/tank top both adds a splash of color and makes things more modest.
2. mod·es·ty
1. the quality of being modest; freedom from vanity, boastfulness, etc.
2. regard for decency of behavior, speech, dress, etc.
3. simplicity; moderation.
Where in there does it say anything about drawing arbitrary lines on your body and declaring that those lines must be covered at all times? The high school years I spent in oversized t-shirts was not the most modest time of my life, and even if I have the lowest-cut shirt in RS now I don't feel at all immodest. I dress in a way that is comfortable, flattering, and makes me feel good about myself. I don't try to guess what will offend other people, but instead choose clothes that make me feel happy and confident. It does happen that most of my clothes fit the arbitrary standards, but the important thing is that they fit the standards I have chosen for myself after study and thought.
