Anyone else think this sounds more like a dream/nightmare than an actual movie trailer? Especially since the asker said it was from when they were young, I kind of wonder whether it's some kind of faulty remembrance of a bad dream they had.

+1. I'm actually in the process of comparing the Wikipedia list of all the Christmas movies from 1994-2005 to the wikipedia lists of Horror movies from the same time period. Just because I'm curious. We'll see what I find out.

Any guesses for how many of each type there are (i.e. how many Christmas movies in that period and how many horror flicks in that period)?

ETA: There are only three movies on both lists. None of them even remotely match that concept. Maybe someone should write a script?

I went through Christmas movies, zombie movies, all sorts of movies, and determined I never want to see a Christmas zombie movie.

I'm sorry I missed this out camping, but I also remember seeing this commercial, so I don't think it was a scary dream. I think it was between 1998-2002.

My search turned up nothing.

Hmmmm... no, I can't remember any details except for I think it was someone in the house who had shot her, like her husband or her dad or something, and that's why she didn't want the other woman (her mother, or mother in law) to know. I'll keep you posted if anything else comes to me.

Do you know if the commercial was on tv or cable? I'm thinking maybe it's a made-for-tv movie or perhaps an episode of a show like the X-Files that might not show up in lists of films.
