READER PARTY

Post by Portia »

So, Craig Jessop and I have determined that we need a gathering of Christmas delectables, games, and good company. I know, I know, we're all frantically doing our term papers, and never surfing the Internet or enjoying the unseasonably warm weather when we should be in class, but this can be a break from your strenuous schedule. Have fun voting in the primaries.

Another party? Already? Huzzah! I voted for the 8th, but as long as it is on a weekend, I don't care when it is.

... unless something else comes up.

Is this the party where I bake, or another party?

:D I didn't say when I'd bake. Just kidding. I'm just a pansy.

If you hold it on the 14th, you should hold it in my honor. (It's my birthday.)

I should be able to make it any of those days I think, though I can not guarantee a cheese cake this time. (Funds are limited this time of year.)

party in Katya's honor

That sounds fun. What sorts of foods should we have, Katya? Favorite movies? Games? Incidentally, are you coming out to Utah any time soon?

Don't do it the 14th! I have tickets to go see the real Craig in Christmas concert that day!

Hmm. Eat cheesecake and watch Ocean's Eleven. And yes, I'll be in town briefly over Christmas (long about when everyone else has left Provo).

And I now find out I can't do it on the 14th either.

It turns out I have plans for the 14th as well, so I eliminated it from the polls. What do we think of the remaining choices?

15th would be good if it is later in the day. I have to play at the basketball game but it shouldn't last too far into the afternoon/evening.

the 8th is no good, but that shouldn't stop you guys from coming to hear my jazz combo play at the smokehouse in provo form 8-10 that night.

8th or 15th, same to me.

I'm pretty sure, anyway.

Mr. Big Mat:

I assume you are in the men's basketball pep band, and I think you mentioned you play the saxophone (too lazy to look). If so, I was about 6 inches in front of you at the Jackson State game.

Ah, well, I was 6 inches in front of your roommate's nose, then. :)

Can anyone NOT come either the 8th or 15th that would really like to?

Well, the 8th is this Saturday, right? I don't think there's any big rush is there? Plus, I think I'm supposed to go to Divine Comedy that night. So I'm leaning towards the 15th. Any objections? Concerns? Hypocrisies?
