Guys are always the first to be blamed, aren't they? They get blamed if the seat is left up, they get blamed if the seat is left down.

She must not have lived with very many women yet if she hasn't encountered the hovering/peeing on the seat phenomenon before. Almost all of my roommates (all female) that I had were hoverers, and they peed on the seat way more than my dad or brother ever did. It's just like this viscous circle where they won't sit on the seat because they think there is other people's pee on it, and of course there is other people's pee on it because the other people aren't sitting down either.

I... had over 60 roommates and never witnessed this phenomenon.

Okay, I'll admit it, I sometimes get pee on the seat. I'm not a hoverer, but sometimes unintended dripping occurs. I notice it most of the time and just clean it up, but I'm guessing some women just don't realize that it happens, especially if it is only a tiny bit. Anyway. There you go. It's not that ridiculous. (Or I'm really weird? ARGH.)

I've noticed that, in general, women have worse bladder control than men (especially if they are pregnant.) I think it is probably pretty common that a woman simply starts to go before she gets completely situated on the seat.

It reminds me of the time I sat in pee in the movie theater.

Was it while you were on a blind date? Provo High's school newspaper once set up a blind date for the purpose of reporting it, and this happened on the date.

You're not weird, mico, I too sometimes get a little pee on the seat.
