Twitch Winks

This person seems to be concerned about potentially giving the wrong impression. I know they didn't ask about it, so I thought I'd share my story regarding that here instead of a comment.
My freshman year I knew a guy who had this same quirk. I was convinced he liked me because he kept winking at me. And he was really outgoing anyways. The combination was very flirtatious. I actually ended up asking him "Why do you keep winking at me?" He explained it was a twitch and he couldn't control it. All problems solved.
My question came when the wink didn't make any sense in context. You can't always be sure that will happen, nor can you be sure whoever you are with will ask. If you're concerned about a specific person taking it wrong, be sure to make some joke or lighthearted comment about the twitch in werf's presence. Once they know the situation, it should clear things up with no problem. Either that, or they were going to be interested in you no matter what.
