Here's the thing: It sounds like RLATB doesn't know what they want to do with their graduate degree in Spanish/French/Portuguese. Seeing as how jobs in academia are very hard to come by these days, I would recommend identifying the potential job/career first and then looking at the necessary education, else you may end up with a useless graduate degree and a lot of student loan debt.
