I've moved into my new apartment in Draper, and it has a great pool, hot tub, and two barbecues. I vote we have a paaaaartaaaaay!

The pool probably won't open up til late May. How would Friday May 30 or Saturday May 31 work for everyone?

I should be able to come, but certain life circumstances have changed that may stop me from coming (moving's a pain... and my mom might come until I have done it, cause you know, she's good and freaked out about how bad my mental health got this past year).

Kinda OT, but the National Speech and Debate tournament is in Salt Lake in 21016, and I vote you all drive up and visit me at my hotel when that happens. I'll remind you.

I'm planned until December 2016 because of grad school and coaching speech and debate.

Also, unrelated, but Imogen, do you live in the Houston area? Just wondering, my family lives near there and we are going to look at houses in Round Rock, which is a couple hours from there. (Sorry to partially derail the thread. I wish I could attend the actual pool party!)

I actually live in Corpus Christi, but I'll be in grad school at UH for the summer. You should totally move to Round Rock because it is my DREAM to teach at one of the high schools there (one day........). They have Ikea!!!!!!!!!!

Draper has Ikea ... My totes reasonable dream is to teach at Stanford.

Oh hey, central Texas conversation! I should join those now as I'm heading to grad school at UT starting in August (if I ever find an apartment and figure out how I'm going to move my minimal furniture). If you do end up in Round Rock, we should do lunch or something. Also, I will probably make several Ikea trips because unfurnished apartments and college students need Ikea.
