I call upon your powers, peeps.

I need a replica (a not too expensive replica) of Wallis Simpson's Cartier cross bracelet for our one act play in March. It should be less than $150.00 if possible. I've been able to find replicas of everything else we want, but the cross bracelet eludes me. HELP!! WE NEED IT!!! IT'S ACTUALLY A PLOT POINT!!!

Here's a cross charm bracelet on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/listing/252377319/ ... gallery_19

Maybe you could contact the seller and have you make something more similar?

oops, that's a vintage item so the seller probably wouldn't have the materials to make it. but I found some other similar ones by searching for "cross charm bracelet" on etsy.

Can you buy a bunch of crosses from this person and then attach them to a silver bracelet? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wholesale-Cross ... 6tmNAcl7cA

Hmm. If nothing else, you can set up an email alert on eBay so that if any others come up for sale, you'll know about them.

Working with these kinds of materials is not my forte, but from preliminary research it looks like it would be possible for me to figure out how to make this bracelet. Rhinestones in workable sizes and in (I think) all the colors needed are available; I'm just not yet finding a suitable cross to fix them to. But that's an option if you can't find the bracelet for love or money elsewhere.

This one might push your budget a little ($150) but it seems to be what you're looking for: https://www.carolee.com/bracelet-duches ... -5060.html

What about these cross pendants? https://www.etsy.com/listing/243371519/ ... ref=market
I have to admit, I'm curious as to why it matters what the bracelet looks like. I know you said it's a plot point, but how close of a replica does it really need to be? Is the number of crosses important? Are the colors important? If it's for a play no one's going to see it up close, right?

We want as close as possible. The one linked above from Carolee would probably work. I'm just frustrated there's a legit replica with the engraving and everything, AND I CAN'T HAVE IT!!

The colors are most important. Wallis' relationship to her jewelry is crucial, and they can make a difference for an actor, especially a young one.

Thanks for the help, y'all! If you happen upon the Kenneth Jay Lane one somewhere, let me know!
