ice cream maker

Post by ahem. »

I want to buy the Cuisinart ICE-20 Automatic 1-1/2-Quart Ice-Cream Maker. The red one is cooler, but I can get the white one for $15 cheaper. So...

Does anyone have any advice?

I also considered the Hamilton Beach 68220, the Deni 5000, and the Cuisinart ICE-25BC.

In case you were wondering.

No real advice on models/brands since the last I owned was a hand crank model, however, make sure you consider why you're buying it, what you'll be using it for, and how often you think you'll be using it. Those are vital to determining just how much money you want to spend, cool or not. If you're going to make homemade ice cream to go with every single pie Foreman makes, you may want to spend more money than if you're going to use it regularly for a month then use it every July 4 and during every priesthood session of conference.

Foreman is making me pie?!

Also, I'm slowly but surely talking myself out of this purchase... so far, so good. Until I get trigger happy and buy it impulsively next week.
