I'm pretty sure the Writers wouldn't appreciate this question.

So, um, spring is the time of love, right? Twitterpated-ness and Valentine's Day and mating seasons and whatnot? So why, now that it's summer (summer I tell you!), is everyone getting engaged and getting married and talking about marriage and proposing to me?

The answer to that question seems pretty obvious to me. It took until now for spring flings to settle into engagements.

Maybe people don't want to find fall/winter single housing. ;)
