Joss Whedon (the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) spent the writer's strike thinking of a musical superhero fight (with the villain as the protagonist), called up some of his friends, and filmed it. Now it is being released in three acts. The first is online (only about six or seven minutes) and can be viewed here. The second act will be put online tomorrow. It's online for about a week, so be sure to enjoy the hilarity promptly.

You're the pop culture buff: are there other comic strips/movies where the villain is cast as the protagonist, and his sticking it to The Man seen as admirable?
Portia: Ocean's Eleven - Thirteen counts, I think. As well as the Italian Job in some respects. And The Transporter isn't a law-abiding citizen, for that matter. Wicked? Hoodwinked?
Oh, and don't forget that Joss Whedon also worked with The Office a couple of times .
I just watched the second one. Fantastic! There was one part at about 11:10 that I definitely could have done without. Pointless and crass. The rest was fantastic though.
I'm guessing he gets the girl, and doesn't directly kill Hammer. I also think that there will some comedy belittling Bad Horse. Other than that, no idea.
