I actually didn't know that the piece of art was called the Tree of Wisdom so I thank xkcd for asking that question.

Thinking back I think it looked like either a fountain of sorts, or the strands of a rope coming together, as people from many nations coming here and intermingling.

Anyone else have thoughts on it?

The most I know about it is that it's in the Sexy 'Stache video.
