Sad day indeed! But, that is the way of things I think. Too bad, but life goes on. (And I'm sure she will enjoy having a bit more time as well. ;D)

Portia did give us a lot of great answers.
Makes me sorry I was so hard on her. (Not that I believe I had anything to do with her retirement. I'd be sorry to hear that I did.)

Thanks, all. Don't we all appreciate being noticed? I know I do.
Yeah . . . the extra time will be nice. Can't be traipsing about doing scavenger hunts forever, now can I? ;)
bob, bob, bob . . . this ain't the Mafia.
And despite our disagreements, Vorps--no, you had nothing to do with it whatsoever. Can't expect to be agreed with all the time--in fact, I should probably count myself lucky that as many people agree with me as often as they do. :)
If to do were as easy as to know what were good to
do, chapels had been churches and poor men’s
cottages princes’ palaces. It is a good divine that
follows his own instructions: I can easier teach
twenty what were good to be done, than be one of the
twenty to follow mine own teaching.
It seems it is time to try to work things out in my own life, rather than advising others through the safety of an electron wall.
Bonne chance, tous.
