Finals scheduling

Dear 100 Hour Board,
Why does BYU schedule finals like it does? It seems like it would make more sense to schedule them during your normal class time, since then it would be guaranteed to have an open room, most finals would be completed by tuesday night (or Wednesday if they split it up a little bit more) and it would be during a time that the students would already be accustomed to.

I got as far as typing this into the question box, and then I realized the answer. Most finals take longer than a single class period. *smacks forehead*

It just makes me happy that I have no scheduled finals this semester.

I'm very jealous of you and my best friend who had that same thing happen... I had 3 comprehensive finals (ick)

I have comprehensive finals. I can just take them whenever. Which is why I'm procrastinating them. :^)

See my best friend had a paper due, and that was it. I, on the other hand, was cramming like crazy (we don't get any "reading days" as mentioned on the board) and she was like "Do you want to go to the mall?" when I had barely gotten 4 hours of sleep the past few nights... it was pretty crazy
so do you have a certain date they have to be taken by?

They have to be taken by 4 pm friday. But, I want to be done tomorrow. So, I have one to take today, and two to take tomorrow. (One of them is online. I could take it tonight, but I'm going to the party....)

I have one more to take. Studying today and tomorrow, taking it late tomorrow or early Friday.
