Re: Running a search on your brains
Yeah, i remember that one where Marduk got depressed. But I can't find it. And I think that may be where it was.

Running a search on your brains
So, I'm trying to find something here, but the Search page keeps returning 0 results, and even when I tell Google to search this site ( like this ) , it gets 0 results. So as a fallback effort, I'm running a search on your collective memory. I'm looking for a thread that had some discussion about ho...

Re: Doorknob counting
Were all those doorknobs really counted? What about the large-scale counting rule? And why are only some of the buildings on campus included? I dare you to find documented evidence of the large-scale counting rule being currently in effect. That said, if we get them too frequently, it may come back...

Re: The Way of Kings
I'm very interested in the character Hoid. Why does he (or one with his name) keep showing up in Brandon's books? Are we going to get answers about Brandon's universe (because he has said that his books are different worlds in the same universe) through Hoid? I've always wondered if Lord Ruler caus...

Re: The Way of Kings
I really, really liked the book. (I should have answered the original question, but I didn't see it. Oh well.) I'm posting spoilers in here, though nothing vital to the plot. So if you haven't read it yet and want to avoid all spoilers… well, why are you in here in the first place? Kaladin was the m...

Re: Saving for your kids' education
On the topic of missions, I would like to have my daughters save as well. If they decide not to serve missions, so be it, it can be their welding fund or a down payment on a house or something. I've thought about serving a mission, but finances are not such that I can in the foreseeable future. You...

Re: Question 59963 - The Prophet talking about seeing God
We know of a number of other prophets who saw Christ. For example, Jacob (son of Lehi) saw him in his youth ( http://scriptures.lds.org/en/2_ne/2/4#4 ). Lehi saw Christ, and possibly the Father as well. ( http://scriptures.lds.org/en/1_ne/1/8#8 ). We also know that Stephen saw both the Father and th...

See, but there are ways of finding the key, at least if the message is long enough. (In this case, it's a bit shorter than ideal, so it's more difficult.) See http://www.simonsingh.net/The_Black_Cha ... _tool.html, for example.

Re: 59155 - Sauron on mosques and memorials
Maybe I'm just the odd man out, but I'm really failing to understand the uproar over this whole thing. I cannot understand why it is such a big deal where this community center is built. It's a group of people who want to gather together to worship God as they see fit. There is no harm in that. If w...

You probably meant "expect", but I'm curious at how one would "except" you there. Perhaps make an exception in the laws of physics causing you to instantly appear there?Werf_Must wrote:....that explains how we missed it. In that case, except me there ^.^
