I gave a friend a Book of Mormon a few weeks ago for her birthday and she had me/the missionaries over today for the first time. That felt pretty brave.

I started making this
http://www.patonsyarns.com/newsletters/ ... aceBag.pdf
which you probably can't see unless you sign up for a free Paton's Yarn account.

Cool.

One of my upcoming projects is this thing:

The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

I went up to the secretary I knew was the wrong one, the one that didn't offer me the job last month, and was still pleasant and charming and was pleasant and charming to all the secretaries and receptionists I met today!

I kept smiling, even though I'm not happy.

I went on a blind date, that turned out to be the guy I had most hoped it wouldn't be.

I carried my own plate of food from the kitchen to the family room (because Little House on the Prairie was on, and I wanted to know how it ended). Later I carried a bowl of ice cream from the kitchen to the purple room. (So named because everything in it is purple.)

And nothing was spilled.

I picked up my sick sister-in-law from school and signed her out of the office, having not taken a shower yet. Then I went on a walk with my son and we found a dead mole on the road in the most horrific pose of frozen terror. Then we went back to look at it some more.

Yesterday on our walk we poked a snake with a stick to get it out of the road, so it wouldn't get run over.

The more jobs I apply for, the more discouraged I get and the less I want to fill out more of these stupid applications...so today I made myself apply for at least five "real" jobs.

Fingers crossed...

Do you know of any jobs in the area? I'm looking as well.

The bravest thing I've done today is get out of bed.

I sure do. Check out this craigslist post: http://provo.craigslist.org/ofc/1779476625.html

I know the hiring manager. Better send in your application today though, they already have a bunch of interviews lined up.

I fought a pack of bears with my bare hands to save a group of orphan children from a burning building perched on top of a cliff which resided on a fault line.

Yep.
