Re: Sad Halloween Times

My husband and I were BYU cheerleaders. We got the uniforms from the surplus sale BYU had at the beginning of the football season. And I made my son into his favorite stuffed animal friend, Ruffy. Which he likes almost as much as smooshing his baby sister in her elephant costume. :) Baby elephant c...

Re: Nasty Habits

Oooh, I ditto krebscout with the eating. In general, I eat very healthy meals and snacks, but every day in the late afternoon and again a few hours after dinner, I get the munchies for something sweet and I pound down Good 'n Plentys till I feel sick. I can't help it, that stuff is like crack. Also,...

Re: good slack classes?

You may be registered for a dance class, but is it ballet? Because that was the greatest class of ALL TIME. And yes, I think the mens in the class enjoyed it just as much as the rest of us.

Re: 69293 - Singleness and Celibacy

I guess I felt like a lot of you gals do... that I had just as much sex drive as any man! But now that I'm married, I find that I'm not as interested in sex as my husband is. Maybe I just wanted what I couldn't have? My sex drive changed post-marriage too (but I was sexually active before). I'm pre...

Re: Estate sales?

Not an answer to your question, but I've always wanted to go to an estate sale. It sounds like a fancier version of a garage sale.

That's all I really wanted to say.

Totally not necessary for porn. Just sayin'.

Re: New missionary age

I really wanted to serve a mission in high school, and I imagine if I had had the opportunity to do so when I turned 19, I probably would have been busy preparing for a mission rather than questioning the Church. I wonder if I would have come to the same conclusions, though, by being more involved ...

New missionary age

So, new missionary age is 18 for men and 19 for women. Who else thinks this might raise the average age of marriage for Mormon singles?

2. Look up BYU USGA post haste. Make friends there. Also, for the love, look up anything by Carol Lynn Pearson. Books, interviews (Mormon Stories), whatever. Email the lady. Send her the same question, even. She'll write you back and she's amazing. Amen. I want to give the poor guy a hug. Being Mor...

Re: How Mormon are you?

I mentioned the Mormon Child Bride somewhere in this thread, so for those who are interested, here's a recent post she did about what not to say to inactive (or inactive-ish) people: http://mormonchildbride.blogspot.com/2012/10/things-not-to-tell-your.html It seems to fit some of what we've been dis...
