Classes?

Except for my religion class all of my classes are in the HFAC.

Me too... Except my friend isn't in the BYU marching band, and she doesn't play trombone... but hey! It's close, right?

And it doesn't help when roommates pull out the xbox and invite you to play halo. It's kind of counter productive.

Yeah, that actually didn't really bother me. I mean, let's face it: marching bands are kind of futile. The crowds at football games would get just as pumped up by peppy canned music over the loudspeakers as they do by peppy live music. And a very, very small minority of the crowd actually cares about halftime and pregame shows. But I don't do marching band to provide other people with enjoyment; I do it because I like it and I have fun doing it whether other people have fun watching or not.
But I am interested in knowing why RP has such a chip on his shoulder...

You know, RP said that if he was formally invited and had a reason to be on the mb, he would come. Should we formally invite him to come tell us why he is so against marching band?

As for me, 's in my blood. I may not be in one right now, but BYU marching band was where my parents met and I was born while they were both still in marching band. Merely hearing a marching band or seeing some people in uniform stirs my blood. Which sounds kinda odd...

Ditto-ish. That is where I met my hubby- we sat next to each other on the bus ride to Graceland during the Liberty Bowl trip. The funny thing is there is another couple in my ward who ALSO met in the BYU Marching Band. It works!
