Um, I'm ashamed to admit this, but when I first read your comment about your brother in New York, Gio, it took me a minute to make the connection. I thought to myself, "wow, this really has become a random thread. Maybe I should post something about my brother in Spain." Then I realized your brother was Craig and I felt sheepish. But it's been a long (albeit good) day, so that's my excuse.

BYU tells me "go to our website to download the application for the Monson scholarship!" So I go, and type it in, and get told that it's not a real web page. WTFetch?

Edit: Never mind. I'm dyslexic.

Is anyone going to the rally tonight?

For those who didn't notice in the Daily universe, it is 7:00-8:30, and the gates open at 6.

I'm not. I'll probably be making ice cream cones late into the night.

I'm doing something I haven't done before, this strange ritual called "studying." This has occupied a good deal of my night up until now, and will continue to occupy much of my time. And then I will have to take a test.
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

The other evening, I had a dream that bobtheenchantedone's real life personality was an 80 year old lady in my ward. Except the lady died like a year ago. And it wasn't in her house. Heck, she didn't even own a computer. And she was homebound, and only left to go to the doctor's. And she was bob.

The end

(True story.)

It doesn't feel right putting this in the real Proposition 8 thread. And it doens't represent my true feelings. But it is really funny.

So you're saying that Bobtheenchantedone is actually a ghost?

I have a true story similar to yours Gio, which I still do not completely understand. But that is a story for another day.

Of course she's not actually a ghost. She's just wearing a sheet!

Also: Nanti, what is this story of which you speak?

My story?

Well it is when I was on my mission in my first area. My trainer and me had opened up the area and on divisions with one of the Zone Leaders we looked for a girl that he had taught when there were any elders in the area. She no longer lived there, but her mother agreed to let us pass by later on in the week. We passed by a couple times, talked with her a few times but were unable to teach any of the discussions/lessons and then after the first three times or so we were unable to get a hold of her.

So two weeks after the first time we met her, the same zone leader was with me and we decided to see if we could talk to her again. So we went the apartment complex, rang the bell and shouted out a few times. Although she didn't answer, a neighbor came out and asked who we were looking for. We told her and she got scared suddenly and backed up a few feet, especially after we told her we saw the lady a couple weeks back. Then she explained; the lady that we were looking for had died the year before...

And that folks is a true story.

Wow. That's kind of weird, but really freaky.

Stranger things have happened, methinks.

The whole thing was part's of various true story's. 1) I had a dream that bob was the old lady and 2) all the descriptions of the old lasdy were accurate to the best of my knowledge.

Also, Sam, did you get her temple ordinances done for her?
