Oh, I've just been occupying my online time elsewhere. But, lucky for you, I just cleaned out my google reader for the first time in months!
I stopped in looking to find a discussion on Prop 8, and see if some of my questions could be answered... but the one here looks a little hairy.

I think I'll stick to looking up articles that can back up their claims with facts.
Sorry, was that mean? I've been reading a lot of discussions about the topic today, and it turns out people say some really ridiculous and stupid stuff sometimes. And they typically ruin the discussion as people rush to correct the glaring inaccuracies instead of concentrating on the actual merit-based arguments.
Anyway, I'm sorry you have the flu. Being sick is awful, but it makes you so much more grateful for your heath once you're feeling better. My parents and most of my small relatives recently got flu shots. I've been wondering about them recently. I'm not exactly high risk, so I doubt I'd get one this year (or for many years to come). Do you wish you had gotten one?
