I had a friend that accepted a proposal at 14. A serious one. Then the guy went out with another girl the next day.

Young marriages can work out fine, but getting engaged young and not having it work out must be quite the challenge. A young couple I knew were engaged their freshman year in high school, remained so for four years, and then broke up a few months after graduation, weeks before the wedding date. I wonder how they handled their social lives for the next couple of years...

He who overcomes himself is strong. 33:1-4

I have friends who married quite young and it worked out... And others who did the same and had it fall apart.

Just depends.

Two parallel lines, infinite in length, converge... and not just once... but twice! (i.e. they converge at both ends...)

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

Why has this comment been marked as new the last three or four times I've come here? I look at it each time, and next time it's new again! ODD THAT
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

It gives additional meaning to the phrase "I want his bacon."

I just like that Fred noticed it was next to a box of Shakespearean Insult Gum and took the time to point it out to us.

I finally got my new BlackBerry! It's the storm, the touchscreen one. I really like it, and the things that people on the internet whined about don't bug me. : )

Not yet, but Verizon will do it for me in like ten minutes. I'm technically not transferred over yet. It's not working like I hoped. But it's getting there, I think!
