#56095 Most Questions Answered in 24 Hours

Post by C is for »

link

I'm so conflicted, you guys! I want both teams to win!

Remember to ask questions. I asked one (a really stupid one) and if I can think of another (probably stupid as well) I'll ask it too! Maybe we can even get a record number of posts per day (I think it's like 120 ... boy, that was a day to hit in the archives).

Are any of you rooting for anyone in particular?

I... love them both. Really. Coggers is a favorite, but so is Hobbes. My gut instinct tells me to go with Cogs, mostly because the whole Hobbzipan thing has started to get on my nerves.

Okay, so I don't know who is going to win, but the questions are numerous and awesome. Just so y'all know.

Cool. I'm excited for this!

Uh, yeah, me too.

And guys I feel so embarrassed because of the totally off-the-wall link I had at the top of the post. I really did mean to link to the question. Hopefully none of you clicked on it while it was wrong. (I was talking tautology, hence the link to the Facebook group. Still embarrassing.)

I am so ready to see the results of the epic duel. It will be so fun!

Here's what I would have done had I had a clear winner in mind: asked a really difficult question, involving lots and lots of time, to the person I didn't want to win. Like, "Dear Person, Will you please detail every kitchen utensil in your place of residence? Type, style, brand, year you got it (I am serious about this -- check your receipts if you don't remember), color, every single thing about every single thing. Including each individual piece of silverware. Love, C is for Crock pot and Colander"

Yeah. anyone pull that technique?

I don't think that would have worked - the writer could have just ignored the question until later.

Actually, they could probably have it dismissed as a large-scale counting question (even though there's technically no counting going on).

In case anyone here was wondering, the contest turned out to be a tie. Each team answered exactly 31.5 questions.

That's hilarious. That's all I'm saying. (So I should have asked Cognoscente that question. Dang.)

Does this mean that there needs to be a tie-breaker round? Like most questions answered in 1 hour?
