Sharpie ink generally bleeds into your pores. I'd recommend a thicker gel, even though it wouldn't survive a handwashing. Regular ballpoint would last a little longer than that, but it would probably need to be more the consistency of Parker ink than Cross ink. Cross is too liquidy. Plus, you'd have major color limitations.
Staedtler might be worth taking a look at, too.

I'm not sure if I dare ask what a tragus is.Imogen wrote:i'd just get the tattoo. i'm get my tragus re-pierced, and i'm way excited!!! and i'm excited to get my next tattoo that's going to take forever to finish but will be so worth it!!!xkcd *** wrote:... guys i have a problem. i really want a tattoo, but since that's not going to happen, i need markers/pens that won't bleed.

I think tragus piercings look really cool. But most anatomical terms sound kind of dirty when you don't know they mean. I've had uveitis since November, and when I tell people they think it's some kind of STD.Imogen wrote:i don't know why everyone thinks a tragus is something dirty!! probably because it's an uncommon word. but what does that say about THEM?!
on an entirely unrelated note: i'm totally coming for a visit to utah in june!!! be prepared!!!
I had a cartilage piercing when I was 13 or 14, and it only lasted about a month before I had a really bad reaction to it and had to take it out. And for the last few years ago I haven't even been able to wear earrings for more than about half an hour (no matter what they're made out of) before my ears start to get really red and itchy. So I'm kind of jealous of your tragus piercing. Apparently my body really doesn't like having bits of metal stuck in it.
