Today I finally succeeded in Facebook stalking NerdGirl!

That's all.

also i have a cold so I'm super grumpy. Don't no one do anything against the rules or you might get like banned.

And note that that was dialectical and not a double negative.

Yeah, maybe. If I get around to it.

Love and kisses,

Dear nemanem,

My dad bought himself a bag of "dried plums" yesterday thinking that he had found something new and exotic, and then my mom told him that dried plums are prunes.

That's awesome, NerdGirl.

Also, props to vorpal for italicizing ancient in his question that posted today. I've been incredibly busy the last few weeks and didn't get a chance to make a snide remark before the question posted.

But I did notice it.

Do you ever get the sinking feeling that the Board is down right when you're trying to find candidates for Favorite of the Week?

If either of you are in a family ward, expect it to be asked this on a weekly basis.
hahaha did this happen to you? :-)

Aye, that it did.

And does, though with decreasing frequency.

I think my ward is collectively concerned for my somewhat singular eternal soul.

I italicized it just for you, Gimgimno.

Damasta mentioned that in the game Munchkin, or is some additions to the game, they use a vorpal sword. I noticed that in the basic game adding the adjective ancient to a monster increases his awesomeness by +10. Well, that is something.

So, my sister in law just came back to the U.S. after living in Japan for the past four months with her parents. Since she was travelling without her husband, she brought her sister to help with the kids on the flight, and her sister stayed for ten days. They tried to help her "experience America", since she is Japanese, and this was her first time ever leaving the country (she is 22). They took her to a number of different restaurants; Tucano's, a few Mexican restaurants, Olive Garden, and a few others, as well as a BYU luau. On Sunday they didn't go out (obviously), so she ate my cooking since I cook for my family every Sunday. My sister in law asked her what her favorite thing she ate was, and she said "(Marduk's) cooking".

Is it snowing in Utah Valley? It's been snowing in Salt Lake all day and while it's kind of fun, I'm kind of disgusted, too.

So, Marduk, one of your parents is from Canada, and the other is from Mexico. Your brother married a Japanese girl. Has your family got something against marrying someone from the same country?

It both rained and snowed here yesterday, and we have a light dusting of snow right now.

Well, so far, 4 siblings are married, but he's the only one who succeeded in following in our parent's footsteps. If anything, it is my mom's family. Of the seven of them, only one married a Mexican. They have a Canadian, an Argentine, a Columbian, a Honduran, and two Americans.
