You know what? I'm feeling generous. If anyone is serious about this, I'll extend the offer to anyone who wants to come, be they current writer, past writer, or just obsessed reader. Would anyone actually be interested?

A bearnaise sauce is a sauce used primarily for meats, made with a vinegar reduction in an egg yolk and butter combination. I season mine with shallots, terragon, salt, black pepper (all standard) and cayenne pepper (my own addition). I prefer it on pork tenderloin, but it goes well on just about any type of meat.

Knowing that there is going to be some negativity on the Board about the Borg thing, I'd like to submit a question/comment/something in the name of we Boardies that is actually positive. Objections/agreements/comments?
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

You're just trying to lure us to your place of habitation so you can assimilate us!

Let's do it! I'm going to be posting best of month (how much do we love the Black Sheep?) so I vote that the other voice of the message board does it. I need to ... do wedding stuff right now but I'll be back with ideas.

I'll throw out something positive on here. Once I actually read the entire story, I have to admit that it was pretty good. Perhaps it went a little too far with the number of questions it affected, but I think the blog was well done and it all came together in the end. So thank you for that little piece of entertainment. Now stop writing distracting stories so I can actually study for my finals!!

(Oh, and thank you for saving my graduation. I wouldn't want my pictures to have that freaky laser thing in them.)

We love Black Sheep a lot.

I'm going to submit the comment no later than tonight, so if you want to be heard, speak now. At least tell me if you want your 'nym attached to the note.

Add my 'nym to it! I thought the whole thing was very entertaining, and I really needed some extra entertainment this week.

I demand oversight of this. But I will attach my name, assuming the final product meets with my approval.

Darlin', you're only a moderator. I don't answer to you. : )

You know what I figured out today? The whole thing went down in approximately 100 hours! Not exactly, but about as long as it takes one of my questions to get answered. That, itself, is really nifty to me.

Some of the Borg!nyms were really clever. The blog was humorous.

That's what I've got so far. I know you can make it sound way better.

Edit: I also found myself dreaming about the Borg, and trying to escape assimilation. Forgot about that! And we are, of course, happy to have all our writers back in such a creative way.

Also, I thought the courier new was very appropriate. That's definitely the font that the Borg would speak in.

Most of them were saying pretty much the same thing, so I think it's likely we'll just post one or two instead of all of them. Humble Master had a good response or two, though, so I hope one he responded to posts.

That was my guess as well. But now the story is over and it still looks like the old Board...so maybe not? At least, not yet?
Yeah, Board 5.0 isn't quite ready yet, but it's getting there. That would have been awesome if we could've timed the launch to coincide with this, though!

Er, what I meant to say was, I humbly request oversight of this? I mean, can I at least see a draft? Pretty please? /puppy dog eyes

No worries, I VERY rarely take real offense to anything. More often I'm the one doing the offending, so...my apologies.

I'm down for dinner, sure (post-finals, of course). But really, I hope that nobody here feels that I was fishing for compliments or hymns or whatever. I just got a bit worked up over it (though you shoulda seen some of the reactions in our forums that put mine to shame - heh heh heh) and let it out. Really, we do love our readers (huggles!), especially those who participate in these forums. I hope you feel sick after reading this post, dripping with sweetness.

And Ms. cheese, I'm really curious about who you are now. If you're about to graduate then we likely started school around the same time...hm.

Now I wish I were anything but dismal at hymn-writing. Commander Keen would be getting a 4-part ode from me right about now.

Let me tell you something else I'm pleased about: I was worried that maybe one or two writers wouldn't escape the Borg, and that would be their retirement. What a relief that they're all back and safe. I hope no Borg-unrelated retirements are imminent, either.

Well...let's see, I started school here in Fall 2005. Man, that was a while ago.

(Just don't tell anyone I'm about to turn 23. I'm still in denial about that.)
