Yeah. But I have to have Chinese installed for my Chinese class. And I just like to type in Chinese sometimes.

Except I can't figure out how to get it to work for me on my newly-installed Ubuntu, and that makes me sad.

That's fine; the point is that you're probably accidentally hitting (left alt)+shift, which causes your keyboard to switch.

Well, it's supposed to have a mode for English where you don't have to Alt+Shift to get back to English, and it only works periodically.
